Compared to other recent flagship smartphone releases, the OnePlus 6 puts less focus on its camera. It’s fine, but it doesn’t compete with the Google Pixel 2. The OnePlus 6 has higher-resolution shooters than other phones on our lineup.
The two rear cameras have 16 and 20 megapixels each, f/1.7 aperture and wide-angle lenses. Neither lens allows for optical zoom, but the main shooter does have optical image stabilization.
We’ve reviewed smartphones for many years and recently spent over 60 hours getting acquainted with the latest batch of top-of-the-line flagship devices, including the latest iPhones, Galaxies and Pixels. It was an extremely close race, but based on our evaluations, the Galaxy S9+ came out on top.
Its sleek design and standout features, such as its new variable aperture camera and super slow-mo video, undoubtedly make it the best Android phone available. The iPhone X is also an amazing device, but its hefty price tag knocks it from the top spot.
